Bow-wo-wo-yippee-yo-yippee-yay|Back 2 School Giveaway

If you’re anything like me, the three words that bring on instant panic are “BACK TO SCHOOL!”  Throwing up in my mouth.  Don’t get me wrong, I look forward to the boys being at school for six hours a day, five days a week.  The house will stay cleaner, I won’t have to go food shopping every day, and when I do, I won’t have to bring them and the XBox will be off more often.

Why I panic, school shopping, remember I’m broke on a budget.  Their list gets bigger every year!  The whole getting scheduled thing, bedtime, picking clothes for the week, threatning to pour ice water waking everyone up nicely, breakfast ect.  Next every event they schedule in September. Last year I was volunteering at school more than I was at home (with the little maniac princess.  It’s hectic, and we operate a little better at our own pace.  Then there’s homework, don’t even get me started.  Extracurricular activities, projects.  Tattoobaby sees her brothers as playmates, now it will be me and her all day lol.

The children do not know about my Back to School anxiety.  I manage to pull it all off with a smile.  Why, because I choose to be a part of my kids school life.  I enjoy being on the PTA, and making the school a better place.  I want them to like school and if I show them my bad attitude, they’ll do the same.

I have about a month to get it together, and I will.  But I really wish summer vacation was a little longer, wahhhh.

I’ve decided to come out of “Bow Maker” retirement, to take a little bit of the stress of those three words, off your shoulders and give you the chance to win a set of my bows.  Winner can Mix and Match, pick school colors, coordinate with uniform, the choice is  yours.

Honestly, I’m not dreading back to school. I’m EXCITED! My daughter is starting kindergarten so I’ve got mom jitters…I guess I do dread the commute and how it’s going to work taking one girl to school and another to daycare.

The homework. It’s such a hassle to get the kid to do his homework right when he gets home. He gets a 30 minute snack/relax time, then homework, then whatever he wants until dinner.
